PROJECTS
84 Finnegan Circuit - OXELY, Stages 1 - 3
August 2016 to December 2016
This site is approximately 70 townhouses developed in a clay quarry. The site management included the reworking of uncontrolled spoil and wasted clay bricks into a terraced townhouse site. The site slope meant that a number of stage benches were necessary to minimise the site export.
Roghan Road - BRIDGMAN DOWNS, Stages 1 - 4
January 2017 to October 2017
This site is 134 lots developed on an old jam factory site. UES worked collaboratively with the project team to deliver a fully benched site surrounding a 1 hectare parkland. The site presented challenges with the replacement of a live asbestos water main, frontage roadworks in difficult subsoils and fissured clay subsoils.
Ripley Road - RIPLEY, Stages 1 - 4
December 2016 to September 2017
This site was developed around the existing Citihope Church including a truck stop service centre, McDonald's and speciality stores. The rear of the site was developed into 84 benched lots. The site's challenges included an upgrade to Ripley Road to an interim sub-arterial road, civil works in black soils at the northern edge of the site, works around an existing 750mm diameter Swanbank Power Station recycled water main.
623 Albany Creek Road - ALBANY CREEK, Stages 1 - 3
December 2016 to September 2017
This site development included 72 townhouses developed within the edge of the Albany Creek Floodplain. The disused nursery was demolished, the existing uncontrolled fill reworked and floodplain filled on a recycled crushed concrete sublayer. The development required interface works to Albany Creek Road (a TMR roadway). A 3.4m acoustic fence frames the site. The development required the relocation of a 500mm diameter trunk sewerage main to suit the development format. The stage 1 works included the construction of the development community centre (pool, BBQ, fireplace and pool service room) within the Albany Creek floodplain. This site had exceptional challenges and was delivered in a professional manner by the development team.
